Eight Greensboro restaurants and bars whose own sites list a patio, terrace, beer garden or outdoor seating, most of them downtown on Elm and Lewis streets.

Last checked Oct. 11, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Most of Greensboro’s patios on this list are downtown: on South Elm Street, on West Lewis Street, on South Greene Street and beside LeBauer Park. Outside downtown, Print Works Bistro has a creekside terrace off Green Valley Road, near Friendly Center.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records with a Greensboro address, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 11, 2026, and against the U.S. Census Bureau’s city limits. A place is on this list only if its own site names a patio, terrace, beer garden or outdoor seating; OpenStreetMap marks several other places as having outdoor seating, but their own sites do not say so. We added Boxcar, The Bodega and Lawn Service from the Downtown Greensboro Inc. directory. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it.
