Every Greensboro where-to-eat list in one place: wings, pizza, Mexican, barbecue, breakfast and coffee, burgers, sushi and Asian, desserts, bakeries and patios.

Last checked Oct. 11, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Greensboro’s restaurants gather in a few places: downtown, along South Elm Street and the streets around LeBauer Park; the UNCG area, on Spring Garden and Tate streets; and the long commercial corridors of Battleground Avenue, West Gate City Boulevard, West Wendover Avenue and West Market Street, with a cluster at Friendly Center. These lists cover places inside the city limits, so restaurants with a Greensboro mailing address in unincorporated Guilford County or Jamestown are not on them.

How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records with a Greensboro address, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 11, 2026, and against the U.S. Census Bureau’s city limits. Places we added from the Downtown Greensboro Inc. and Friendly Center directories are kept only where the place’s own site confirms a Greensboro address. Every list is alphabetical. None is a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on any of them. Run a restaurant? Write to us to correct or add your entry.
