The city also maps Fisher Park as one of its three local historic districts, and OpenStreetMap names it as a place.

Where it is

The district is about six-tenths of a mile across, between downtown to the south, Irving Park to the north and Dunleath to the east. North Elm Street runs through it and has more addresses than any other street, by the city’s address points, followed by Magnolia Street, East Bessemer Avenue, Fisher Park Circle, South Park Drive, North Eugene Street and Leftwich Street.

The city’s address points show 888 addresses in the district. About half sit on land zoned for single-family homes, 28% on office zoning, mostly along the Elm and Bessemer corridors, and 15% on multifamily zoning. All of those with a ZIP code are in 27401.

Unlike Dunleath and College Hill, Fisher Park has no extra historic district tax on Guilford County’s 2026-27 rate table.

Home values

Zillow’s typical home value in ZIP code 27401 was $182,377 in August 2026, down 2.8% from $187,608 a year earlier, according to the Zillow Home Value Index. The index is a modeled typical value for the middle third of homes, houses and condos together, not a sale price. ZIP code 27401 is large: it also takes in downtown, the Heath area and much of east Greensboro, so it says little about Fisher Park’s own houses. Zillow’s figure for Greensboro as a whole was $263,264, level with a year earlier. More in our home prices guide.
