Father’s Day 2027 is Sunday, June 20. Few Greensboro plans are posted this early, but two are already on the calendar: the Greensboro Grasshoppers are home the week before and the week after, and in 2026 the Summer Solstice festival fell on the Saturday before.

Summer Solstice weekend
The Greensboro Summer Solstice festival has run since 2005 at the Greensboro Arboretum and Lindley Park. In 2026 it was 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 20, the day before Father’s Day, with an entry fee for adults and children 13 and over. The 2027 date is not posted yet.

No Greensboro Father’s Day car show had been announced for 2027 when we last checked. In 2026 local businesses held smaller Father’s Day events such as kids’ craft nights and gift-painting classes; we list 2027 events once the organizer posts the date, time and place on its own page.
